This week, I created a mess!
I thought “art project” when I received this week’s photo challenge word, and was glad to have the opportunity to try this project out. All you need are crayons, a large sheet of drawing paper (the sturdier the better), some glue (for gluing down the crayons), a hair dryer, and a covering for the ground. I tore out a sheet of drawing paper and clipped it to the back of the drawing pad, then leaned that against a brick wall outside.
The first splatter! The crayons started melting right away.
Now the fun really starts…
I love this shot.
Cool splatters on the paper bag covering the ground.
This project was fun! And a great way to use up old crayons, too (although I bought a fresh pack since it was my first try). Cleanup was minimal–the little bit of liquid crayon that went out of bounds cleaned up with water and soap.
